I'm a boy.
Born on Jackson AFB outside Sacramento, California.
Normal early years. Air Force brat. Sunday school. Youth soccer. Etc.
We moved around a bunch.
Jr. high & high school saw lots of detention. Even more summer school.
Went to CalArts to be a bonafide theatre techie grunt.
Wrangled 6 foot tall mice at Universal Studios after class.
Promoted LA clubs out of college.
Managed a band. Poorly.
Produced special events big and small for the richer-than-thou set.
Managed a recording studio for a few years.
Remembered I should have fun being a twenty-something right after I turned 30.
Freaked out, ran away and joined the circus.
No, really.
Quit the circus and drove Route 66 end to end.
Quick stop in Los Angeles, then managed the Improv Comedy Club in Phoenix, AZ.
One summer in Phoenix is enough, thank you. On to New York.
Crashed on a friends floor & got a job. Any job.
Caught a break & stage managed a play.
Went out. Often.
Winter came. Stayed in.
Jan 1, 2005: Met girl I was going to marry, and knew it.
Jan 2, 2005: Started first real job, ending all regular sleep patterns.
The girl and I did the long distance thing.
Oct, 2005: We moved in together.
Entering Summer of 2006, all is well.
Lots of traveling: DC, Michigan, Phoenix, Las Vegas, BurningMan
Plenty of bumps and bruises on the way but, all and all...
Work is booming, girl is amazing, and I would not change much in my life.
...except for the sleep thing.
